Racism and Disney PrincessesThe recent controversy surrounding the upcoming Disney movie "The Princess and the Frog," while ridiculous and reeking of Political Correctness Gone Mad™, made me start to think about Disney's past depiction of race issues in relation to the Disney Princesses™, most of whom are white. After thinking about it for a while, I came to the conclusion that Disney has shown its white princesses in a more negative light than its non-white ones. I shall prove this theory using quick analyses of the following characters in the order that their respective movies came out: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, and M Racism and Disney Princesses

I have returned. -Insert dramatic music-

Still swamped in schoolwork, but the worst of it's over for now, so I've got a lot more free time for writing and shit.

My health has also improved drastically over the past few months. Among other things, I don't have difficulty breathing and my spine no longer feels like it's going to snap in half. Which is good.

Also, despite swearing never to read another Spider-Man comic again, (or at least until SOMEBODY retcons the Epic Fail that is One More Day) picked up Amazing Spider-Man #611 after hearing they were getting a great writer for it. Was not disappointed. The Lady Stilt-Man sequence made me shoot hot tea out of my nose. Luckily, none of it got on the comic.

And sorry if the grammar in this journal is bad. I'm exhausted.

Long before the world began to suck, a rabid koala demon named Zoolix terrorized the west coast of what is now Australia until a group of valiant neanderthals beat him to death with pieces of fossilized seaweed. Millions of years later, Zoolix was reincarnated as Jay; the unfortunate love-child of a zombie nerd and a mutant cockroach. Jay is an irritable and somewhat odorous creature that spends the majority of its spare time reading comics, writing vulgar poetry, and drinking tea.

...I actually came back because I was curious about just how many messages/deviations would be in my inbox after only a few months. It was a lot. I'm slowly going through all of them, so I'll definitely get to yours eventually.

It's ironic because like 3 days ago I was wondering when you'd come back. dA is boring without you D:

And haha you'll see quite a few submissions from me, but sadly they're all songs except for the 2 Saga of Damian chapters.

I still havent moved into our house yet so I havent been able to start on worlds apart again
